Wow -- I hope everyone’s staying afloat this summer!  New Mexico has seen its first torrential rains in ages, and things are flooding.  It certainly is nice to see green pastures, though.

Exciting News - I have an agent!!  The future looks brighter every day!

I’m also in the process of (finally) moving, so few book signings are scheduled for the near future.  That will change, as soon as I’m settled in.

A special thank you to everyone who attended the Writers to Writers talk at Hastings in Albuquerque on Monday.  You all were a wonderful; I had a great time.  I look forward to attending future meetings as part of the audience!

I just finished taping a radio appearance for KSJE in Farmington with Connie Gotsch for “Write on Four Corners.”  I had a blast reading three excerpts from BAYOU RHAPSODY, and look forward to hearing the interview scheduled to air April 18 (2007) at 10:30 am and April 20 at 2:30 pm.  You can listen online at http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/ksje/ppr/index.shtml .  (Don’t worry -- I’ll remind you all in April!)  Connie will be giving away a copy of JUST KISS ME and BAYOU RHAPSODY.

October 2005

Happy (almost) Halloween!  My favorite time of year has arrived with a dusting of snow on the mountaintops, and Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico.

Looking for Halloween reading material?  Here are some that you may have missed the first time around:

How about a vampire story?   You can order Flight of the Raven for only a dollar! (Find it under $1 Downloads - Horror/Paranormal)

Want an excerpt?  Check my web page under Sarah's Books.

For a quick mystery, with vampire wannabes thrown in, check out Night Life, also for only a dollar (found under $1 Downloads - Mystery/ Suspense). There's an excerpt on my web page under Sarah's Books.

Extra:  If you haven't yet read Flight of the Raven or Night Life, and you want to be in the drawing for a free copy, send me an email with "Free Copy" in the subject line and I'll put your name in the hat.  I'll be drawing for one free copy of each ebook on Monday night, 10/17 -- two weeks before Halloween.

For those of you with more explicit tastes, there's always the Nathan Cotton vampire series at Extasy Books.   (Warning: you must be 18 or over to order these ebooks.)

Upcoming booksTough Enough by Sarah Storme, a contemporary romance, is scheduled for release later this fall from Zumaya Publications, as is The Colonel's Tale by S.H. Baker, the next installment in the Dassas Cormier Mystery Series.  I'll be drawing for signed copies as soon as they're released!
